In addition Deb & Lisa led the group through a fun and engaging look at childbirth in the media with documentary film Laboring Under An Illusion: Mass Media Childbirth vs.The Real Thing by childbirth anthropologist Vicki Elson.
The evaluations demonstrated how valuable the evening was for participants. Those who attended were from a wide variety of childbirth education backgrounds - midwife students, master's students, doulas, RNs, RPN, PHNs, Prenatal Educators, and a Residential support worker. There was a lot of networking done, great food enjoyed, and an interest in membership in PCEN.
